Substance use and other addictions are primarily associated to may various ailments. Alongside detoxification, the HaB offers treatment of mental conditions such as Bi-polar, Schizophrenia and Psychosis; Psychological illnesses including depression, anxiety, insomnia and other behavioral disorders. The model of Treatment, and recovery support services (PTRSS) is applied to people exposed to mass trauma in the post conflict region of Africa and other infectious diseases which has mental health related challenges like COVID-19, Ebola and HIV/AIDs etc, to help in rehabilitating and skilling so as to realize the desired quality of life.

In all these, our local staff are involved in a range of diverse activities, all aiming at supporting the psychosocial wellbeing of war-affected people and their contexts.
